Questions

Q1.  Is your identity currently tied to your productivity, your job title or your income?

Journal: Strip away what you do for a moment. Who are you underneath it? Is that a person you know how to be, or has that person become unfamiliar? And if your role, title or income were removed tomorrow, what would remain?

Q2.  Where are you experiencing diminishing returns in your life right now?

Journal: Think about where you are investing the most, effort, time, sacrifice, energy, and what you are getting back. Where has the return quietly shrunk? Have you unconsciously lowered your expectations to match? How long have you been adapting to a system that is no longer working for you?

Q3.  Are you currently living in Work Life Failure, Work Life Balance or Work Life Success, and how do you know?

Journal: Be honest about which system you are actually in, not which one you aspire to. If you are in balance, does it feel like genuine fulfilment, or does it feel like a polished version of staying stuck? If you are in failure, when did intentional design leave your life, and what took its place?

Q4.  Answer the three foundational questions of Work Life Success — in the right order.

Journal: Start with: Who do I want to be? Then: What do I want to experience? Finally: What do I want to achieve? Write your answers as fully as you can. Then ask yourself honestly, are you currently living, working and making decisions in a way that starts from who you want to be? Or are you working backwards from achievement and hoping fulfilment follows?

Q5.  Based on everything across all three parts, are you rundown or burnt out, and what does your next step need to be?

Journal: This brings everything together. If you are rundown, you need to Rest, Recharge and Reset, and build a system that makes that sustainable. If you are burnt out, you need structured support to break the cycle, not another break, but an intervention. Which is true for you? And what has been stopping you from taking that next step?
